The Gypsy Travellers Band is a local band formed by Tamra Asbell the owner and operator of Gypsy Junk in Sisters, Oregon. They started out as a small worship band at a home church in Redmond, Oregon. As time went on Tamra dreamed of having a stage in her store so that music could be brought to life at Gypsy Junk. Through the hard work of loving friends a stage was built at Gypsy Junk. Music began to play and lives began to change and eventually, “The Gypsy Travellers” were born. They now perform at various venues in Central Oregon. They are a Bluesy Acoustic Band but they play a wide variety of musical stylings. Each member contributes their own style of music and that makes them unique. The members include Cruz Asbell (Bass) Brooke Miracle (backup vocals and rhythm) Leif Anderson (Acoustic Guitar) and Tamra Jean (lead singer/songwriter). Tamra Jean also does her own solo acoustic gigs. Book her for a solo gig in the section below.
The Gypsy Travellers are a Bluesy Alternative Acoustic Band in Oregon. We play a wide variety of musical stylings but our sweet spot is a Jazzy style Blues. We have several originals that will be on our first debut album. At our live shows we play our own originals and we add in several crowd favorite cover songs from top artists such as Fleetwood Mac, Johnny Cash and Dolly Parton.
